Our Facilitators
NUS YOUNG EDUCATORS IN SCIENCE (YES)
The Young Educators in Science (YES) programme is a collaboration between the Faculty of Science and the Ministry of Education (MOE). It provides students with a supportive framework to learn and work alongside faculty staff in science outreach and education. This programme encourage students with an interest in education and science communication to engage in the practice of teaching and communicating at an early stage of their academic career. YES aims to develop a close-knitted community of present and future educators for the sharing of best practices and information on educational trends between schools and NUS.

YES x sci@home
sci@home has an ongoing collaboration with YES to make the conducting of our online workshops possible.
Across two days, a total of 42 members from the NUS YES programme participated in a 1.5-hour general facilitation workshop.
Contents covered in the workshop include an introduction to teaching and learning online, introduction to sci@home, interactive discussion on effective online facilitation strategies, and a sharing session by members with experience in science engagement activities.
